The Champlain Regional Stroke Network (CRSN) is a coordinated healthcare organization dedicated to improving stroke prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and reintegration across the Champlain region of Ontario. It is one of the province’s 11 regional stroke networks that operate within the broader Ontario Stroke System to lead, plan, implement and monitor stroke care services based on evidence and best practices. The CRSN works with hospitals, clinicians, community programs and other partners to enhance access to high-quality stroke care from the earliest signs of risk through recovery and community reintegration.
The site serves as a central hub of information and resources for both health professionals and patients or caregivers. For clinicians, it offers education, training modules, clinical tools, best practice guidelines and opportunities for workshops and events to support stroke care excellence. For patients and families, the network provides educational materials about stroke prevention, recovery strategies and support services, including prevention clinics and community rehabilitation referrals.
Overall, CRSN’s mission focuses on reducing the incidence of stroke, improving outcomes for those affected, and supporting continuous learning and quality improvement in stroke care throughout the region.
