L.E.A.R.N. is a collaborative initiative created through a partnership between the Women and Children’s Health Network and the Northern Maternal Child Network. Together, these organizations bring extensive expertise to improve healthcare systems, expand access to knowledge, and enhance outcomes for women, children, and families across Ontario.
The initiative provides a central platform for learning, education, and resource sharing. It connects healthcare providers with evidence-based practices, clinical guidelines, and professional development opportunities that can be applied directly to patient care. By combining the Women and Children’s Health Network’s focus on advancing quality, equity, and innovation in healthcare with the Northern Maternal Child Network’s leadership in maternal, newborn, and child health across northern and rural communities, L.E.A.R.N. ensures resources are both comprehensive and responsive to regional needs.
Through workshops, training modules, and webinars, the platform promotes continuous professional growth while offering access to research, tools, and best practices that strengthen collaboration across healthcare systems. It also serves as a hub for updates, news, and community engagement, ensuring providers remain connected and supported.
Together, these networks—through L.E.A.R.N.—are advancing a shared goal: improving access, quality, and equity of care for families across Ontario.
