Clinical research is a vital method through which we develop new treatments, cures, and other interventions for HIV and sexually transmitted and blood-born infections (STBBIs). This course is intended for community members who want to learn more about the clinical trial process in Canada, the ethical and regulatory frameworks that govern it, and the importance of community involvement in improving trials. Students will learn how community members can support Canadian HIV and STBBI research both in general and in the specific content of the CTN+.
